Learn About Us

Eco Plastic Products of Delaware is a nonprofit organization who collect discarded plastic from different locations and transform it into consumer products.

Eco Plastics was founded in 2018 by two men named Charlie Falletta and Jim Kelley. Charlie and Jim had worked together in the solar industry throughout the years and have always had a common interest in helping the environment. In 2008, Jim helped Charlie install 220 solar panels on the roof of the facility while helping along with other business ventures that were similar. Since then, the two men have reconnected for another business journey and decided to start a nonprofit that is unique and beneficial to help positively impact the environment.

Although the idea started in early spring of 2018, they did not create the first bench until January of 2019 that went into Newark Natural Foods, Delaware. They have since donated to several charities and other nonprofits while having a bench in Guam. They also provide work to people who fit the full spectrum of human abilities and give a second chance to people who were previously convicted.

At Eco Plastics, we take pride in knowing that we are contributing to a bigger cause and hope to reach a goal of helping the environment become a better place to live for everyone.

Our Community

We are actively engaged in our community school programs and other charitable organizations that support like causes to educate people on the importance of recycling. It is our mission and short-term goal to make a positive impact on our environment for future generations.

Our Facility

This is our facility where we manufacture our different products and collect the discarded plastic.

The Densifier Machine is specifically used to grind plastic grocery bags. It can grind up to about 30,000 bags at once.

We have 220 solar panels on the roof of our facility that supply us with about 80% of our own power.

The Granulator Machine grinds up different types of plastic bottles and plastic containers Unlike the Densifier which only takes plastic bags.
